Town of Parker Choses FORTRUST for Disaster Recovery Backup

The Town of Parker, Colorado chose FORTRUST, a data center provider, for disaster recovery backup. Since Parker is the 19th most populated municipality in Colorado, it was important to the town to choose a dependable and safe data center. FORTRUST, is a leader in the data center and colocation service provider industry. Because of the multiple services the Town of Parker provides to it’s residents, it is essential to have a secure data center.

“FORTRUST has been our first foray into outsourced colocation and the whole experience has been very positive,” states Terry Denison, IT Systems Analyst for the Town of Parker. “In addition to the tight security at FORTRUST, their professional, knowledgeable, and friendly personnel have made us feel very comfortable. The Town also has long-standing relationships with multiple strategic partners that rely on FORTRUST for their systems, so we are confident that we chose the best data center for the job.”

The Town of Parker has nearly 50,000 residents in it’s border so a partnership with FORTRUST which offers reliable and sustainable infrastructure seemed like the right move for the town to make. “FORTRUST makes security one of its top priorities, which is why many organizations requiring a high level of security collocate at our facility,” says Josh Moody, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at FORTRUST.

FORTRUST Denver is the largest regional data center boasting over 300,000 square feet of space and a data capacity of 34 megawatts. For comparison, a single megawatt of data is enough to cover 66 homes. They offer a secure and raised floor for enterprises of any size. FORTRUST, aside from its Denver location, also has locations in Phoenix, Arizona, and Edison, New Jersey.

The Town of Parker isn’t the only Denver Metro client of FORTRUST. It was also just announced recently that Altitude Digital of Denver also chose FORTRUST for their data center provider. Josh Moody said the partnership is one he looks forward to watching grow. “We look forward to continuing to safeguard Town of Parker’s sensitive information here at FORTUST.”
